Tertuliana convidada: Carme Roure, doctora per la Universitat de Barcelona (UB) amb la tesi: Afganistan després de 2001: pau i reconstrucció. Professionalment ha treballat en l’àmbit de l’ajuda humanitària i en desenvolupament en països a l’Àfrica, Àsia i Centre Amèrica. També, com a professora a la Universitat de Vic.

20 anys d’intervenció militar i de la comunitat internacional a l’Afganistan
L’Afganistan, després de més de 20 anys de guerra (1979/URSS, 1992/guerra civil, 1996/talibans); el 2001, post 11-S, es va enfrontar al nou ordre mundial amb una guerra preventiva contra el terrorisme engedada per EUA i el Regne Unit. La participació de la OTAN, a partir de 2003, va desplegar tropes de 49 països, aquestes es van reduir a partir de 2015 fins la retirada militar i de la comunitat internacional el 2021, deixant el control del país al règim talibà.
Ens centrarem en la intervenció militar i de la comunitat internacional i el paper d’Espanya a la província de Badghis. Quines eren les estratègies d’intervenció que havien de portar la pau i el desenvolupament del país? Per què aquestes no es van demostrar viables en un context de conflicte armat? Què passa quan la reconstrucció es fa en ple conflicte armat i la línia entre ajuda, política i operacions militars es difumina?
